the stench of summer, a distant memory
A lack of life, in absolute hegemony
Rays of light no longer pierce into this dominion
The moon shines in fading verrmillion

Shards of ice
crystallize
enshrine
in permafrost
for the path
of flesh
is fraught
Eluding all light, I am acquainted with the night
Moving quickly with unencumbered ease
I travel through a cooling darkened breeze
With whispered foretelling from the trees
I remain here in unholy guarantee
no signs of existence to perpetuate disease

Let my carcass rot here
For I shall not die in fear
In eternal bliss I lay
the ice witholds my decay

Barren days and shadowed hours
